Wedding season is here!  Braids have become a highly-requested element in the trending organic bridal updos.  Learn how to create the this braided bridal look, step by step with Eric Fisher.

  • Dry Shampoo
  • Light Hold Hairspray
  • Detailing Creme

  • Tail comb
  • Jumbo comb
  • Clear elastic bands

  1. Part the hair down the center; clip one side out of the way.
  2. Leaving the perimeter out, begin a high inverted french braid (or dutch braid) on one side of the head.
  3. Once you reach the nape area, begin to deconstruct or 'petal out' the braid.  Secure with a clip
  4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 on the opposite side.
  5. Once you have the two french braids done, remove the clips and braid them together.
  6. Secure with a clear elastic and flip the tail thru the hair above the elastic.
  7. Decontruct your braid as desired.
  8. Begin curling the perimeter by wrapping the hair around the curling wand in a cable curl style. Hold curls in your hand until they cool and pin them  out of the way as necessary.
  9. Spray curls with dry shampoo and break them up using a jumbo comb to loosen them.
  10. Spray curls with a light hold hairspray and beginning at the nape, weave the curled sections into the braid.
  11. As you finish, check your final style for balance and adjust as necessary.
