Fall 2019 Makeup Trends to Try

Summer is winding down and we have some fresh new ways to welcome the fall season.

These 3 lips trends are a great way to embrace cooler temps and darker colors.

1.  Red lips - matte, glossy, warm or cool, red lipstick is a classic that will never go out of style. Some of our favorites include NARS Semi-Matte in Jungle Red, Lancome L'Absolou in Souvenir, Bobbi Brown's Luxe Lip Color in Parisian Red and Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 in Red Hot Susan.

2.  Bordeaux or Berry lips - Berry tones are often the most flattering for lipstick choices. They tend to work well with all skin tones, since they lean just slightly towards cool, and they make the teeth look marvelously white. We saw both darker and lighter takes on berry lips for the fall 2019 makeup trend. Check out Shiseido Modern Matte Powder Lipstick in Dark Fantasy or NARS Audacious Lipstick in Bette.

3.  Glossy lips - lip gloss is back in fashion and we are extremely grateful for the less gooey formulas.  Try Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Cream in White Russian, Too Faced Lip Injection Power Plumping Lip Gloss or Glossier Glassy Gloss.

Subtle blush is a year-round must, but this season's trendy rouge is inspired by the flush you get when there's a chill in the air. Make your cheeks pop by adding a bit of extra blush along cheekbones, blending out toward your temples.  Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush 440 Quintessance, Milk Makeup Lip & Cheek in Swish.
